Brief Introduction to the Accounting and Statistics Work Circle
Originally established as the "Financial Accounting Work Circle," this work circle was renamed the "Accounting and Statistics Work Circle" on April 22, 2013, to better reflect its expanded scope and responsibilities. At that time, except for National Cheng Kung University, the other three universities did not have dedicated Financial Affairs Divisions. The establishment of this work circle was approved on May 18, 2013, during the Joint Meeting of the Head Principals and Executive Commissioners of the Taiwan Comprehensive University System (TCUS). Its purpose is to manage and oversee financial and statistical matters across the four universities.
Work Description
1. Oversee the examination of the TCUS general fund, including income and expenditure accounts, along with other related financial matters.
2. Manage the examination of other TCUS funds, including income and expenditure accounts, and address associated financial issues.
3. Draft and revise the "Taiwan Comprehensive University System other fund expenditure methods"
4. Oversee the planning, performance, and outcomes of the TCUS Accounting and Statistics Work Circle’s initiatives.
5. Address other relevant issues related to the promotion and functioning of the Accounting and Statistics Work Circle.
