The Taiwan Comprehensive University System (TCUS) leverages the strengths of its four member universities, integrating curricula and faculty expertise from various disciplines. This integration provides students with comprehensive teaching resources, aiming to cultivate talents with cultural and professional literacy, interdisciplinary expertise, innovative abilities, social awareness, and leadership skills.
The Teaching Affairs Work Circle has established the following goals and plans:
1. Curriculum Resource Integration: Objective: To enhance student access to diverse teaching resources and facilitate inter-university interactions. Strategies:
- Implementing open joint courses
- Allowing mutual course selection and credit recognition
- Enabling inter-university course enrollment without additional credit fees Concrete Plans: (1) Establishing and operating an open course and virtual university platform; (2) Implementing inter-university course enrollment without extra credit costs
2. Teaching Resource Integration: Objective: To provide diverse support and assistance to faculty, especially newly-hired teachers. Strategies:
- Recognizing inter-university faculty qualifications within the system
- Facilitating inter-university course offerings
- Implementing joint recruitment, research, and supervision of researchers

3. Joint Recruiting: Objective: To streamline the admission process for transfer students across TCUS universities. Concrete Plan:
