The Advisory Committee of TCUS consists of eleven to fifteen members, with the TCUS president as board convener and other members appointed from among distinguished academics, specialists in higher education and industrial leaders.
The responsibilities and duties of the advisory board are as follows:
1. To make recommendations to TCUS on its major policies.
2. To make recommendations to TCUS on the integration and cooperation of its four members.
3. To make recommendations to TCUS on the development of distinctive characteristics of its four members.
4. To make recommendations to TCUS on the regulations of its organization and operations.
5. To make recommendations to TCUS regarding the establishment, change or closure of any intercollegiate research center.
6. To make recommendations to TCUS regarding its strategies of cooperation with the industrial sector and science-based parks.
7. To help TCUS raise donations and solicit the resources required for its sustainable development.
